Colombia

We supply Colombian Specialty coffee and Microlots through our own dry mill in Neiva: Mild Coffee Company Huila. MCCH has buying stations in the South Tolima and South Huila departments where coffee growers from different regions bring their coffee before it goes to the dry mill.

The different regions in Colombia all have their own unique flavors that are very characteristic and the coffee growers work with different process methods and varietals. At the buying stations we cup the coffee to define the SCAA score and cup quality. When the coffee arrives at the dry mill there is another quality control to secure the high quality.

For the production of fine coffees we work together with a specialized group of coffee growers to obtain the quality and transparency. Through our technical support, social projects and assistance we improve the lives of the small coffee growers in Colombia. Below you find more information about our current Microlots and Specialty offers that difference in the following regions:

Oliverio Bravo - Microlot

Isnos - Huila

Apart from the contest coffee we have now this Microlot from producer Oliverio Bravo. Señor Oliverio Bravo (1972) lives in the vereda El Jardin de Isnos Huila and is father of four children. He started working in agriculture and later more focussed in coffee production. From the age of 7 he helped his parents with the production of sugarcane, yucca and maintaining pastures.
With a lot of dedication and love, together with his señora Miriam Bravo Galindo they build up the finca “El Encanto”. They are very proud and untill today they have been able to sustain their family with the production of coffee and sugarcane. They were one of the founding members of the association CASCADE DE BORDONES. They have obtained an added value for their product by certifications and are currently in the process of obtaining organic certification.
